COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M standout midfielder Mikaela Harvey helped the United States Under-20 Women's National Team claim the Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) U-20 Women's Championship on Sunday evening. The sophomore played the entire 90 minutes of a 1-0 win over Canada in the title match in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

Harvey started four of USA's five matches in the tournament, including playing the entirety of each of the last three triumphs. After opening the tournament with a 2-2 draw against Mexico, the Americans played like an unstoppable rebel force, outscoring opponents 20-1, including wins against Haiti (6-0), Panama (6-1) and host Honduras (7-0).

Harvey has had a banner 2015 campaign, helping lead A&M to its sixth NCAA Championship quarterfinal appearance. She has earned NSCAA All-America Second Team and NSCAA All-South Region First Team status as she helped pace the Aggies to a 17-7-2 mark on the season. Starting 25 of A&M's 26 matches, she finished the year with 18 points on seven goals and four assists.

By finishing in the top three at the tournament, the U.S. U-20 WNT qualified for the 2016 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup, slated for Nov. 13-Dec. 3 in Papua New Guinea.
