The No. 12 Texas A&M women's basketball team heads to the north shore of Hawai'i to take part in the Tom Weston Classic, where the Aggies face Hawai'i and BYU.

A&M is off to a 5-1 start, and have been honored with an SEC Player of the Week in each of the last two weeks. Senior Courtney Williams was named SEC Co-Player of the Week on Tuesday, after earning all-tournament honors and averaging 26.5 points against two ranked teams at the South Point Thanksgiving Shootout. Senior Courtney Walker was SEC Co-Player of the Week the week prior, after leading A&M to wins against then-No. 14 Duke and TCU.
Hawai'i is off to a 4-3 start, after qualifying for the WNIT in each of the past three seasons. The defending Big West regular season champions are coming off of a 67-51 loss to No. 2 South Carolina, but the Rainbow Wahine face BYU on Thursday in the Tom Weston Classic, prior to playing A&M.
BYU is 4-3, and has qualified for the NCAA Tournament in each of the past two seasons. The Cougars won the first game of the Tom Weston Classic 85-40 vs. BYU-Hawai'i on Wednesday, and also boast a win over Penn State on the season.
After the Tom Weston Classic, the Aggies return home to Reed Arena on Monday, Dec. 7 to host SMU at 11 a.m. in the annual Elementary School Day.
