Sydney Pickrem Picks Up Silver Medal for Team Canada

Toronto, Ontario-- Incoming Aggie freshman swimmer Sydney Pickrem won the silver medal in the 400 IM at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Pickrem continues to excel in the international competition. Earlier this week she set the Canadian national record in the 200 IM and went on to earn the bronze medal in the event.
Pickrem finished the 400 IM in 4:38.03, just nine-tenths of a second behind the United States' Caitlin Leverenz, who took gold in the event. Pickrem, the sixth-fastest swimmer in the world in the 200 IM, now owns two Pan American Games medals in individual medley events.
The 2015 Pan American Games will continue through July 26.
