Texas A&M senior guard Courtney Walker was named to the Staley Award Mid-Season Watch List, the Phoenix Club of Philadelphia announced today. The award is presented to the top guard in Division I Women's Basketball.

Walker was one of 18 players, and four SEC players named to the mid-season award list. The Award will be announced during the Women's Final Four weekend, and the award ceremony is held in April 2016 at the Union League of Philadelphia.

Walker, who is averaging 17.6 points per game this season, and the No. 10 Aggies take on Alabama at 6 p.m. Thursday evening on SEC Network Plus.
