COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Baseball, in conjunction with the Brazos County A&M Club, will unofficially commence the 2016 campaign with the Fourth Annual Aggie Leadoff on Saturday, February 13, at Olsen Park Pavilion.

The 2016 Aggie Leadoff is slated to start at 10 a.m. Chef Tai will be providing hamburgers, hot dogs and gourmet fries. Coach Rob Childress and players will be available for a meet-and-greet between 11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.

As part of the Vs. Cancer Foundation, players and coaches will be shaving their heads in support of cancer research. The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. Donations will be accepted at the event.

The Aggies are slated to plan an intrasquad scrimmage at 1:05 p.m. The scrimmage is free and open to the public. Tickets will only need to be purchased for those who plan to eat at the Aggie Leadoff.

Tickets for the event will be $20 for adults and $10 for children 12-and-under. Tickets can be purchased in advance at BCAMC.org. Tickets purchased day-of will be based on availability. Ticket-holders will be entered in a raffle drawing for prizes, including a chance to throw out the first pitch at the scrimmage. They will also be given tours of Blue Bell Park.
