MOUNTAIN VIEW, Ca. – Final men's dual meet rankings for the indoor season by Track & Field News magazine have the Texas A&M Aggies maintaining the number one position they attained after winning the quadrangular meet they hosted in January.

The top five teams in the final indoor dual meet rankings included Texas A&M followed by Indiana, Nebraska, Akron and Minnesota. The next five schools in the rankings included LSU, Wisconsin, Air Force, Princeton and Oklahoma.

Since the first year of competition in the Gilliam Indoor Track Stadium in 2009 the Aggie men have not been beaten in either a dual, triangular or quadrangular meet they have hosted. Texas A&M has one dual meet scheduled during the 2016 outdoor season against UCLA when they visit historic Drake Stadium in April.

Three indoor dual meet men's records were set this season and a pair of them involved Texas A&M. Aggie senior Hector Hernandez broke the 800m record with a 1:48.35 performance during the A&M's team win over Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Arizona State in January. In the December Reveille meet, TCU's Ronnie Baker set the 60m dual record with a 6.61 clocking.

Other indoor dual meet records held by Aggies include Deon Lendore with a 45.74 in the 400m from 2014, Joe Savageau with a 14:19.54 in the 5,000m from 2010 and A&M's 4x400 relay time of 3:05.43 from 2014. Another record set in Gilliam during a dual meet format includes a 20.79 in the 200m by Aaron Ernest of LSU in 2013.

The next competition this indoor season for Texas A&M will be the SEC Championships held February 26-27, in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
