COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Aggies welcome the Houston Cougars to the friendly confines of Ellis Field on Sunday at 6 pm as the Maroon and White commence the spring schedule.

The contest will be free to spectators.

Texas A&M returns 18 letterwinners from the 2015 campaign, including 10 of 11 starters (players who started 50 percent or more matches). The returnees account for 45 of the Aggies' 50 goals from last season, as well as all three goalkeepers. Texas A&M welcomes back All-American Mikaela Harvey, along with fellow All-SEC performer Haley Pounds and SEC All-Freshman honorees Emily Bates and Ally Watt.

Fans will get a nearly full preview of the 2016 squad as 22 of the 25 players who will be on the fall roster are in spring camp. The only players not in camp are Stephanie Malherbe, who is on a tryout with the South Africa Senior Women's National Team Olympic squad, and incoming freshmen Grace Cory and Grace Piper.

The Cougars return 16 players from the 2015 campaign. Houston finished with a 4-13 mark last year. Selena Peters and Desiree Bowen are the top returning scorers with four goals apiece.

The Aggies finished the 2015 season ranked No. 9 in the NSCAA Coaches Poll and posted a 17-7-2 record. The Maroon and White appeared in their 21st consecutive NCAA Division I Championship, advanced to the Second Round for the 18th consecutive year, appeared in the Sweet 16 for the 14th time in program history and earned their sixth Elite Eight showing.
