Texas A&M, who with the No. 2 seed has their highest-ever seed in the SEC Women's Basketball Tournament, start their tournament run with a quarterfinal game against 7-seed Tennessee at 5 p.m. CT on Friday, March 4.

The Aggies boast five players with SEC honors, including Courtney Walker, who was a First Team All-SEC pick for the third straight year. Courtney Williams and Jordan Jones were named Second Team All-SEC, Anriel Howard was named Freshman All-SEC, and Chelsea Jennings was the SEC's 6th Woman of the Year. In addition, Jones was named to the SEC All-Defensive Team for the third straight year.
A&M enters the tournament with six wins in seven games to close out the regular season and earn the No. 2 seed. The Aggies had the top scorer in SEC play, Courtney Walker (19.7) and the top assister in SEC play, Jordan Jones (6.5).
The winner of this game plays in the SEC Semifinal at approximately 6 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 5, with television coverage on ESPNU.
