COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M's baseball team will honor President George H.W. Bush with a special adidas uniform this Saturday as the Aggies host Yale, the 41st president's alma mater. President Bush is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Blue Bell Park and will attend the second game of the three-game series with his wife, Barbara.

The Aggies will exchange their traditional maroon and white-based home uniforms for white uniforms trimmed in red and blue in honor of President Bush, whose presidential library is located on the Texas A&M University campus. Additionally, Texas A&M is home to the Bush School of Government and Public Service.

A special "41" inside the state of Texas outline adorns one of the uniform's blue sleeves, while the number is also stitched on the back of the Aggies' custom adidas cleats for the game. The commemorative hats are blue with a red bill, white Texas A&M logo on the front and an American flag stitched on the back.

Other special uniform elements from adidas include leggings, batting gloves, base layers and arm sleeves.

President Bush was a first baseman and captain for the Yale team that played in the first two College World Series in 1947 and 1948.
