Texas A&M is Oklahoma City Bound as No. 3 Seed in NCAA Tournament

Texas A&M was awarded a school-record tying No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament as the selection committee revealed the field of 68 for the 2016 Division I Men's Basketball Championship on Sunday.

INDIANAPOLIS – Texas A&M was awarded a school-record tying No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament as the selection committee revealed the field of 68 for the 2016 Division I Men's Basketball Championship on Sunday.
 
The Aggies (26-8) earned an at-large bid in the West Region and will face No. 14-seed Green Bay (23-12) on Friday at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City. Tip will be at 6:20 p.m. (CT) and the game will be broadcast nationally by TBS.

The winner of the game will face the Texas/Northern Iowa winner on Sunday, with a trip to the West Regional in Anaheim on the line.
 
The individual school ticket allotments for the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament are extremely limited. Fans interested in tickets that have previously made a request through the 12th Man Foundation will be contacted shortly. Student tickets will be distributed to the Reed Rowdies and Aggie Angels.
