COLLEGE STATION- The No. 18 Texas A&M women's basketball team was selected to its 11th straight NCAA Tournament on Monday night, and begins its 2016 NCAA Tournament in College Station on Saturday, March 19 against Missouri State.
Â
This is the fourth time in five years that Texas A&M has hosted First and Second Round action. A&M led the nation in total attendance at the First and Second Rounds in 2014.
Â
The Aggies (21-9) enter the 64-team tournament as a 4-seed in the Dallas Regional, earning rights to host. The Aggies open the tournament on Saturday, March 19 (3 p.m., ESPN2) inside Reed Arena against 13-seed Missouri State (24-9), who is the automatic qualifier out of the Missouri Valley Conference.
