SUNSET, S.C.- Three Texas A&M golfers are in the Top 20, and the No. 22 women's golf team is sixth after two rounds at the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee.
The Aggies shot a 296 (+8) in the second round, and are in sixth place after two rounds with a 588 (+12). No. 8 Florida leads the tournament with a 2-under 574. Three golfers are tied with a 138 (-6) after two rounds to lead the individual portion of the tournament.
The reigning SEC Golfer of the Week, Thanya Pattamakijsakul leads all A&M golfers with a 145 (+1) after two rounds, shooting a 73 (+1) on Saturday, which ties her for 14th. Andrea Jonama is tied for 17th with a 146 (+2), shooting a second-round 74 (+2).
Maddie Szeryk had the best round for an A&M golfer on the par 72 / 6,253 yard course, shooting an even par 72. Szeryk is tied for 19th with a 147 (+3) after two rounds.
Bianca Fabrizio is tied for 38th with a 151 (+7) after two rounds, shooting a second-round 77 (+5). Callie Scheffler rounded out the A&M lineup with a 154 (+10) after two rounds, including a second-round 80 (+8) to place in a tie for 57th.
Chloe Velasco is competing as an individual, and has a 153 (+9) after two rounds, placing in a tie for 48th after a Saturday 79 (+7).
