18 Aggies earn NCEA academic honors

COLLEGE STATION – Eighteen members of the Texas A&M equestrian team were named to National Collegiate Equestrian Association academic teams, the NCEA announced.

COLLEGE STATION – Eighteen members of the Texas A&M equestrian team were named to National Collegiate Equestrian Association academic teams, the NCEA announced.
 
Bailey Cook, Emily Davis, Carolyn Day, Alex Desiderio, Kai DeVoglaer, Kaci Fisher, Audrey Gallagher, Brogan Horton, Hannah Jechow, Gabrielle Ploth, Logan Pluhar, Kimmy Saul and Courtney Weisbart represent A&M on the Honor Roll, which is given to student-athletes who have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.25 while maintaining full time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters, respectively.
 
Fisher, Jechow and Pluhar were named to the Beval Saddlery Academic First Team, awarded to student-athletes who have competed in a minimum of 70 percent of meets, and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.5 while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall semesters.
 
Day, Desiderio, and Gallagher received Beval Saddlery Academic Second Team recognition for competing in a minimum of 60 percent of meets, while earning a cumulative GPA of 3.25.
 
Madison Bohman, Rachael Hake, Rachel Lucht, Marlena Parker and Anna Rea were named to the Beval Saddlery Honorable Mention Academic Team, given to student-athletes who have competed in 50 percent of meets, and have earned a cumulative GPA of 3.0.
