INDIANAPOLIS, Ind.- No. 23 Texas A&M was selected to play in the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Bryan Regional, held at Traditions Club and hosted by Texas A&M May 5-7.

The Aggies are making their 16th straight appearance in the NCAA Women's Golf Regionals, and their 25th overall appearance in NCAA postseason play for women's golf. Texas A&M was selected as an at-large by the NCAA Women's Golf Committee.

"We are excited to play in the NCAA Regionals once again, and are looking forward to hosting a quality field at Traditions Club," said Texas A&M head coach Trelle McCombs. "We look forward to hosting all of the teams here in Aggieland."

Texas A&M hosts the event on its home course of Traditions Club, a Jack Nickalus-designed par 72 course that plays between 6,242 and 6,373 yards for the regional, varying on the day's set-up.
In addition to the Aggies, UCLA, Georgia, Arizona, Kent State, Furman, TCU, Texas, SMU, Louisville, Miami (Fla.), Tulane, Campbell, Indiana, Texas State, Delaware, Lamar and Quinnipiac will compete at the Bryan Regional. Admission to the NCAA Bryan Regional is free.

The top six teams of the 18 selected to play in the Bryan Regional advance to the NCAA Championships, held from May 20-25 at Eugene Golf Club in Eugene, Ore. Texas A&M has advanced to the NCAA Championships in nine of the past 12 seasons, and six of eight seasons in the Trelle McCombs era.

This year's NCAA Championship is the second year of the revised format for women's golf, with the top 15 teams and nine individuals not on those teams after 54 holes playing a final round of stroke play on Monday. After 72 holes of competition, the top eight teams will square off in a match-play format to determine a national champion.

The final day of the stroke play competition, and all three rounds of match play are televised on the Golf Channel. The Golf Channel also plans extensive coverage and highlights of the preliminary rounds of the NCAA Women's Golf Championships on its studio shows and online at GolfChannel.com.
