Hailey Rebar named to SEC Community Service Team

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M sophomore Hailey Rebar was named to the SEC Community Service Team, the league office announced.
 
Rebar has participated in Aggies Can and the Down Right Perfect Game, and has volunteered numerous times at the local Special Olympics as well as at a local museum in Bryan, Texas. Rebar also volunteers at Holmes High School and helps mentor kids from Holmes with their transition to Texas A&M. The San Antonio, Texas native helped with the Kyle Field Clean Up in the spring.
 
On the season, Rebar has appeared in 18 games, going 6-for-16 at the plate with a double and five RBI.
 
The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 21 league sponsored sports. The Community Service Team looks to highlight a student-athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
