Champ Finishes Day #2 of NCAA Championship

Texas A&M sophomore Cameron Champ carded a second-round 76 at the 2016 NCAA Men's Golf Championship Saturday at Eugene Country Club, finishing the day in 119th place.

EUGENE, Ore. —Texas A&M sophomore Cameron Champ carded a second-round 76 at the 2016 NCAA Men's Golf Championship Saturday at Eugene Country Club, finishing the day in 119th place.
 
The Sacramento, Calif., native (74-76=150, +10) was even par during his first nine holes of the day but was six-over par after making the turn, leaving him at 10-over for the tournament. Southern California's Justin Suh leads the tournament at five-under par.
 
The stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship concludes Sunday with Champ set to tee off his final round at 4:12 p.m. (CT) when he will be paired alongside Ryan Cole of James Madison and Matt Lutz of UC Riverside.
