AT MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL: Three-year letterwinner at Memorial High School in Houston... named All-Greater Houston each of his last three years... named first-team all-district twice as an outfielder and once as a catcher... garnered second-team all-state recognition as a junior... named to Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association 5A All-State Second Team as a senior... gained over 5,000 rushing yards during his time at Memorial... gained 1,654 yards on the ground with 20 TDs as a senior... rushed for 2,417 yards and 29 TDs as a junior as he earned All-Greater Houston and all-district honors... rushed for 1,498 yards and 20 TDs and was named all-district and a Sophomore All-State performer.
