COLLEGE STATION, Texas—The Texas A&M athletics program and the 12th Man finished in 12th place in the final standings of the 2015-16 Division I Learfield Sports Directors' Cup rankings. The Aggies were the only Division I school to send every team to the 2015-16 NCAA post-season.

This marks the 11th straight season for the Aggies to finish in the Top 25 and Texas A&M has finished in the Top 12 in six of the past seven years.

The Aggies finished second among Southeastern Conference schools. Five SEC programs finished in the Top 25 with all 14 SEC schools finishing in 58th place or higher.

The final rankings included points from baseball where Coach Rob Childress and the Aggie baseball team reached the NCAA Super Regionals to finish ninth and score 64 points. The baseball team won the SEC Tournament Championship, one of four Aggie squads to win SEC Championships in 2015-16.

Coach Pat Henry and the men's track and field team led the way in scoring in the spring sports with 85 points from a third place finish at the recent NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships. It marked the ninth straight year for the Aggies to finish in the top six in the country.

The women's track and field team finished in fifth place scoring 75 points for the Aggies. This marks the 10th straight season to finish in the NCAA Top 5 for women's track and field.

Coach Jo Evans and the softball team reached the NCAA Regional championship to claim a 17th place finish and score 50 points for the school.

Coach Steve Denton and the Texas A&M men's tennis squad reached the second round of the NCAA Championships to place 17th and posted 50 points.

Women's tennis head coach Mark Weaver and the women's tennis team reached the NCAA Championships second round to place 17th and scored 50 points.

Coach J.T. Higgins and the men's golf team reached the NCAA Championships and placed 31st to score 40.5 points.
