Texas A&M Takes Over the SEC Network on Tuesday, July 19

For the second year, SEC Network is turning over its control room to the 14 Southeastern Conference schools for a two-week stretch. Texas A&M will exclusively program 24-hours of the network with classic games, films, ESPN original content and school-produced content on Tuesday, July 19.

For the second year, SEC Network is turning over its control room to the 14 Southeastern Conference schools for a two-week stretch. Beginning Monday, July 18, each school will exclusively program 24-hours of the network with classic games, films, ESPN original content and school-produced content.

Texas A&M will take over the network on Tuesday, July 19.

The scheduling begins with a replay of the 1989 football season opener against LSU, Coach R.C. Slocum's first game as Aggie head coach. A repeat from the 2015 takeover is the Jan. 1, 1986 Cotton Bowl win over Auburn.

A key volleyball match in the 2015 Texas A&M SEC championship run against the University of Florida will air.

Following the volleyball match, the Jan. 1, 1988 Cotton Bowl win over Notre Dame and Heisman winner Tim Brown will air.

The 2016 Aggie walk-off baseball win against Texas at Blue Bell Park will air, followed by the 1998 football Big 12 Championship overtime win against Kansas State.

A thrilling women's basketball win against Notre Dame on the road to the 2011 national championship will air.

The 2016 Aggie baseball no-hitter thrown by Kyle Simonds against Vanderbilt will be seen complete with the ninth-inning defensive heroics.

A compilation of the 2016 SEC Women's Swimming and Diving Championship won by Texas A&M will follow the no-hitter.

A 30-minute original programming from the 12th Man Productions studio at Kyle Field will air from 5:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. central and will feature interviews with President Michael Young and Director of Athletics Scott Woodward as well as a behind the scenes look at the new Kyle Field.

The 2016 SEC Men's basketball championship run will be highlighted as the thrilling overtime win over Kentucky will air.

Another original program, The Burning Desire, a documentary produced by 12th Man Productions of the emotional events surrounding the 1999 Bonfire will air.

Men's basketball will wrap up the programming with the inspiring, heart-stopping, comeback for the ages 2016 NCAA Tournament win against Northern Iowa.

SEC schools are heavily involved in producing the more than 1,000 SEC Network + events streamed annually on WatchESPN, SECNetwork.com and the ESPN app. Every campus has at least one control room, fibered sports facilities and a bureau cam room. This year, more than 350 students gained national television experience contributing to those on-campus productions.

During the SEC Network Takeover the schools have the opportunity to create an entire day of greatest moments. Each school's appointed date – drafted at random during The Paul Finebaum Show on May 17  – and self-determined schedule can be found below:
