All-Americans Jazzmin Babers and Stephanie Aiple, the 2015 SEC Player of the Year, will lead a talented Texas A&M squad that returns 14 letterwinners overall – including five starters plus the libero – from last year's team that won 14 consecutive matches to close out its historic run in the SEC. The Aggies, who finished conference play 16-2, went 24-7 and were an all-time high No. 9 in the final NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI) as well as No. 18 in the final AVCA Top 25 poll after reaching the second round of the NCAA Championship.

Reigning SEC Coach of the Year Laurie Corbelli, entering her 24th season at the helm of the Aggies, also welcomes the addition of eight heralded freshmen, including local standout Haley Slocum of A&M Consolidated High School. Corbelli also welcomes first-year assistant coach Trevor Johnson. He takes over for former assistant coach Steve Greene, who was named the head coach at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi earlier this year.

The 2016 Aggies make their home debut Sept. 16, playing host to perennial power Wisconsin of the Big Ten Conference. The Badgers return all six starters, including AVCA first-team All-American setter Lauren Carlini, from the 2015 season in which they were No. 7 in the final RPI and No. 10 in the final coaches' poll after reaching the NCAA Sweet 16.

Texas A&M opens its SEC home slate against Auburn on Sept. 25. The Aggies play three home matches in October, including a highly anticipated Oct. 16 rematch against the Florida Gators, who the Aggies defeated in an epic five-set thriller at Reed Arena last season en route to their first conference championship.

Texas A&M begins November with a four-match homestand, including a rare Thursday night contest at Reed Arena against Alabama on Nov. 3. The Aggies also play host to much-improved Tennessee (Nov. 6) and Mississippi State (Nov. 11) before closing out the homestand against Georgia on Nov. 13.
