SPRINGFIELD, Pa.- Texas A&M junior Maddie Szeryk shot a 151 over two rounds at the 2016 U.S. Women's Amateur, but did not make the cut at Rolling Green Golf Club.
Szeryk, competing in the event for the second straight year, was even par through 14 holes on Tuesday, but finished with a 6-over 77, missing the playoff for the 64th spot by four strokes. She shot a 3-over 74 on Monday, bringing her tournament total to 151 (+9), tied for 94th.
Szeryk had four birdies on the par 71 / 6,259 yard course over the two days of competition.
Szeryk, a two-time All-SEC selection, is tied for Texas A&M's all-time career stroke average lead entering 2016-17, where she and the Aggies attempt to qualify for NCAA play for the 17th consecutive season.
