COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The 2016 edition of the Texas A&M Soccer team will be introduced to Aggieland on Saturday as the Maroon and White host a Legacy Game on Saturday at Ellis Field.

Texas A&M will play an intra-squad scrimmage at 7:30 pm. The contest will include a pair of 15-minute halves. Current Aggies will be informally available for autographs following the exhibition.

Fans can with mingle with the approximately 20 alumni slated to return for the event, including All-Americans Meghan (Streight) Lisenby and Jessica (Martin) Jimmerson.

The Aggies were selected No. 8 in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Preseason Ranking, the NSCAA announced on Tuesday. Texas A&M returns 18 letterwinners, including 10 starters, from the 2015 campaign. The list of returnees includes 2015 All-American and All-SEC First Team midfielder Mikaela Harvey and 2015 All-SEC Second Team forward Haley Pounds.
The Aggies finished the 2015 season ranked No. 9 in the NSCAA Coaches Poll. Texas A&M posted a 17-7-2 record for the year and earned their fifth NCAA Quarterfinal berth. The Aggies appeared in their 21st consecutive NCAA Division I Championship, advanced to the Second Round for the 18th consecutive year and appeared in the Sweet 16 for the 14th time in program history.
