COLLEGE STATION, Texas— A total of 25 Texas A&M student-athletes are scheduled to earn degrees this summer semester as Commencement exercises are set to take place at Reed Arena on Friday, Aug. 12.
"I am extremely proud of these young people for earning a degree from our outstanding university while also competing at the highest levels in a sport they love," Director of Athletics Scott Woodward said. "We have All-Americans, SEC and national champions, and some of the very best to compete in their respective sports. These student-athletes have put in a lot of time, effort and dedication to reach this goal."
"Many of these student-athletes have not only excelled on the playing fields and in the classrooms, but also have made a positive impact in our community," Woodward explained. "They are excellent role models and outstanding representatives of Texas A&M and Aggies everywhere."
A total of 101 Texas A&M student-athletes have graduated in the 2015-16 school year (Dec. 2015, May 2016, Aug. 2016).
