CALGARY, Alberta- Texas A&M junior Maddie Szeryk shot even par in the second round LPGA Canadian Pacific Open at Priddis Greens Golf Club, but missed the cut at 1-over for the tournament. The LPGA event, founded in 1973, is Canada's national championship for women's golf.
Szeryk had six birdies in two rounds on the par 72/6,681 yard course, finishing in a tie for 89th. Szeryk missed the cut by just two strokes.
Szeryk, a two-time All-SEC selection, is tied for Texas A&M's all-time career stroke average lead entering 2016-17, where she and the Aggies attempt to qualify for NCAA play for the 17th consecutive season.
