COLLEGE STATION—Santikos Entertainment has partnered with Texas A&M Athletics in an effort to bring an unmatched experience in Houston and San Antonio for fans unable to attend Aggie football games.
Â
"We are excited to partner with Texas A&M Athletics to  bring the excitement of Texas A&M football to the big screen at Santikos Entertainment," David Holmes, CEO of Santikos Entertainment said. "No doubt the tradition of Kyle Field is truly unique in the world of collegiate sports, but to bring that energy into a Santikos auditorium will redefine what we are known for, and that is we are more than just movies."
Â
The Santikos locations in both Houston and San Antonio will serve as official Watch Party hosts for all Texas A&M football games. This will provide a unique experience of watching games on the big screen in a movie theater which is believed to be the first of its kind. Admission is free and seats are provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Food, drinks and beer will be sold on site.
Â
"The 12th Man is what makes Kyle Field so special, but we also understand family plans can sometimes keep fans in their hometowns," Jason Cook, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, said. "This partnership allows Aggie fans to join with other Aggies in supporting Texas A&M football from their hometown theaters."
