Aggies Host Three Winter Camps

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M Baseball will hold a trio of camps this winter that offer players the chance to sharpen and develop their skills on the baseball diamond while receiving instruction from some of the country's top coaches.

 

Aggie Baseball Camps offer quality instruction in all aspects of the game. Campers will be made aware of the characteristics that define successful baseball players. Organized games between campers will provide a competitive outlet after specific drills have been practiced. Contests built into drills capture the learner's attention, which results in attentive practice. With a ratio of one coach to approximately 6-8 campers, every camper will receive the instruction necessary to help realize his full potential. Campers will be grouped by age and ability and the camp staff will make every effort to honor teammate requests.

Advanced Pitching Camp (7^th grade-Junior College)

Dec. 10 - Day Camp Cost $200

Pitchers learn to pitch the Aggie Way from one of the most respected pitching coaches in the country, Rob Childress. Campers will learn important work-up drills, throwing progressions and pitching routines while receiving instruction and analysis from Aggie players and coaches. LIMITED TO THE FIRST 30 PITCHERS THAT REGISTER.

 

Elite Camp (7^th grade-Junior College)

Dec. 10 - Cost $200

Come ready to learn what it takes to play at the next level. The Elite Camp is for the advanced player that wants to take his game to the next level and is ready to showcase their skills. Be ready to run, throw, field and hit in this high-intensity camp. This camp is for position players only. An evaluation will be provided to all campers that attend. LIMITED TO THE FIRST 60 THAT REGISTER.

 

If you choose both the Advanced Pitching Camp and Elite Camp the cost is $325.

 

Winter Prospect Camp (Ages High School Only)

Jan. 20-22 - Cost $500

This high intensity camp is designed for the advanced high school player. Our most popular camp, this three-day experience will provide high quality instruction that covers every aspect of the game. Campers will enjoy practice sessions and scrimmage games throughout the day, while also learning information about the college baseball experience. Campers will receive instruction and detailed evaluation on all aspects of the game from the camp staff. Instructors at this camp will be Texas A&M coaches as well as junior college coaches and current A&M players. Campers will be divided into teams so availability is limited. All meals are included with the camp tuition. Overnight campers are responsible for setting up their own accommodations.
