"I feel like we brought in a really good recruiting class, so after a few weeks of practice under their belts, I am excited to see what our new freshmen and underclassmen can get done," head coach Tana McKay said. "I am expecting some good things from our upperclassmen as well to see how their offseason was and if they are mentally prepared to jump back into the collegiate format."

Saturday's scrimmage, which will be run like a regular-season meet, serves as the final tune-up before the Aggies begin the 2016-17 campaign at UT Martin on Sept 23.

"This scrimmage is huge," McKay continued. "Obviously, there isn't as much pressure, but they know that spots in the starting lineups are on the line and we are going to make some decisions for our first couple of road meets to start the season. They know what is on the line."

Fans in attendance have the chance to meet the Aggies' legendary mini horse, Sully. Free schedule posters are available for all fans at the marketing kiosk, and kids can decorate their own cowboy hat to sport for the meet.
