COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The 11th annual Voices for Children Rob Childress Charity Golf Tournament is slated for Tuesday, October 18 at Miramont Golf Club. Proceeds from the tournament will go towards improving the lives of children in foster care through powerful volunteer advocacy ensuring that each is placed in a safe and permanent home.

Tee time for the tournament is 11 a.m. with lunch on the course. Registration begins at 10 a.m. Festivities conclude with a helicopter golf ball drop at 3:30 p.m. and cocktail awards reception at 4 p.m.

Numerous underwriting opportunities are available, including sponsorships and playing spots for foursomes and individuals.

Voices for Children recruits and trains community members to become Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteers. CASAs advocate for a child or sibling group through the child welfare system until the child can be placed in a safe, permanent and nurturing home.
