BURLINGTON, Iowa – Seeking to place an Aggie atop the player leaderboard for a third consecutive tournament, the Texas A&M men's golf team is slated to begin competition at the Golfweek Conference Challenge at Spirit Hollow Golf Course on Friday morning.

Joining the Aggies at the three-day, 54-hole event will be Charleston Southern, Idaho, Iowa, James Madison, Kansas, Lipscomb, McNeese State, Miami (OH), San Jose State, Southern Illinois and UMKC.

"This is a new event for us, so we're excited to see what it has in store," Texas A&M head coach J.T. Higgins said. "We've heard great things about the golf course. We're excited about the way our guys are playing, so we're anxious to get back out there and see if we can keep it up."

Spirit Hollow Golf Course will play at par 72 and 7,179 yards for the event.

The Texas A&M lineup will consist of Cameron Champ, Chandler Phillips, Kavan Eubank, Max Miller and Josh Gliege, who will be making his Aggie debut. The Aggies are slated to tee off at 9:00 a.m. (CT) alongside golfers from Iowa and Lipscomb.

Texas A&M is looking for its third straight top-three finish this weekend, following a second-place showing at the Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate in Verona, N.Y., and a third-place placing at the OFCC Fighting Illini Invitational in Olympia Fields, Ill.

Individually, Eubank earned his first individual victory as an Aggie during the season-opening Turning Stone-Tiger Intercollegiate, while Champ secured the individual title, and his first collegiate win, with a three-round total of 5-under par at the OFCC Fighting Illini Invitational.
