No. 13 Texas A&M hosts No. 23 Missouri in a women's basketball game at Reed Arena on Thursday, January 21 at 7 p.m. This is just the second women's ranked matchup in Reed Arena this season, however, the Aggies have knocked off three ranked teams away-from-home.
The game is broadcast on SEC Network Plus, with Mike Wright and Tap Bentz on the call. Authenticated users can access the stream for no extra charge on their computers, tablets, smartphones and other connected devices by using the WatchESPN app.
Gabe Bock and Bret Dark bring listeners the radio call on The Zone 1150 AM/102.7 FM in Bryan-College Station. The game is available on the internet at 12thman.com/showcase or on the Radio Aggieland app.
The Aggies, who have won six of their last eight, are looking to set the record straight against a Missouri team that beat A&M 70-69 last season on a 3-pointer by Maddie Stock with 0.1 remaining. The Aggies experienced last-second heartbreak in their last contest, falling 59-58 at No. 2 South Carolina in a game that featured 19 lead changes and four ties on a last-second free throw.
Missouri started the season by winning all 13 of their non-conference games, and have since gone 2-3 in SEC play, including a win against No. 6 Mississippi State on Jan. 14. Four Tigers are averaging double-figure points this season, Sophie Cunningham (14.2), Jordan Frericks (11.7), Sierra Michaelis (10.5) and Cierra Porter (10.3).
After this game, the Aggies play at Alabama on Thursday, January 28 at 6 p.m. on SEC Network Plus. The Aggies return home for the rematch with No. 2 South Carolina on Sunday, January 31 at 5 p.m.
