Pounds, a junior forward from Spring, Texas, played a part in three of the Aggies' four goals in a 2-0 week. In Texas A&M's 2-1 overtime victory over Kentucky, Pounds notched a pair of assists. In the 74th minute she set up Sarah Shaw for the equalizer. In the 100th minute, she was the catalyst on Mikaela Harvey's golden goal. On Sunday, Pounds notched the game-winning goal with 6:44 remaining in the second half as the Maroon and White toppled No. 11 Auburn, 2-1.

On the season, Pounds ranks sixth in the league in assists (7), seventh in points (21) and 10th in goals (7).

Piper, a freshman midfielder from The Woodlands, Texas, played a role in both Aggies' victories in limited action (46 min vs. Kentucky and 60 min vs. Auburn) while coming back from an injury. In Texas A&M's 2-1 overtime victory over Kentucky, Piper set up the golden goal with a toe poke assist to Mikaela Harvey in the 100th minute. On Sunday, Piper headed in Kendall Ritchie's free kick offering in the 54th minute to break the scoring seal in the Aggies' takedown of Auburn.

In her rookie campaign, Piper has nine points on four goals and one assist. She has been a spark on set pieces, putting home three goals with headers.

Texas A&M wraps up the regular-season Thursday as the Aggies travel to Starkville for a 7 p.m. contest against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
