COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Softball will square off against Blinn College Thursday with a doubleheader at the Aggie Softball Complex. Game one will begin at 4 p.m., while game two is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start. Admission to the games is free.

The Aggies are coming off a season-opening win against the National Professional Fastpitch League's USSSA Pride, 3-2, before tying 0-0 in game two Tuesday night. Junior Ashley Walters plated the go-ahead run in the bottom of the sixth on a single to shallow center. Junior Erica Russell and sophomore Samantha Show each added a solo homerun in the opener.

The Aggie pitching staff combined to strikeout 10 in 14 innings and was led by Show, who tossed six innings en route to the victory, striking out four while only giving up one hit.
