Promotions Announced for Thursday, Sunday Aggie Volleyball Matches

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Several promotions have been announced in conjunction with the Texas A&M volleyball team returning to Reed Arena this week to begin a four-match homestand.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Several promotions have been announced in conjunction with the Texas A&M volleyball team returning to Reed Arena this week to begin a four-match homestand.
 
Thursday will be Dixie Chicken Night at Reed when the Aggies play host to Alabama at 6 p.m. The first 500 students will receive a free lanyard and a coupon for a half-priced burger basket courtesy of the Dixie Chicken.
 
Sunday is Superhero Day when the Aggies take on the Tennessee Volunteers at 1:30 p.m. Fans are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite superhero for chances to win Aggie Superman shirts and gear.
 
Fans also will have chances to win Aggie gear and more by playing volleyball bingo. Bingo cards will be available at the marketing kiosk on the concourse.
 
Every Sunday is "Funday" at Reed Arena. Up to four kids are admitted free with the purchase of one regular-priced adult ticket for that day's match. All kids are invited to attend the prematch
Superhero Zone in the volleyball practice gym. Activities include a Spiderman Velcro wall, a Flash bungee run, a superhero bounce house and superhero arts and crafts.
 
Texas A&M (14-7, 8-2 SEC) enters the homestand having won eight of its last nine matches to stay in the hunt for the conference championship. The Aggies continue their homestand next week, hosting Mississippi State on Friday, Nov. 11 at 5 p.m. and Georgia on Sunday, Nov. 13 at 1 p.m.
