Women’s Basketball Hosts Maroon & White Scrimmage Wednesday

COLLEGE STATION- Fans can get an early look at Texas A&M's women's basketball team as it hosts its annual Maroon & White Scrimmage at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Reed Arena. Admission to the event is free and doors open at 6.

COLLEGE STATION- Fans can get an early look at Texas A&M's women's basketball team as it hosts its annual Maroon & White Scrimmage at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2 at Reed Arena. Admission to the event is free and doors open at 6.

The event will feature four quarters, with one half featuring the Texas A&M women's varsity team against male practice players. The Aggies will split into Maroon & White teams for the other two quarters of the event.

The Aggies, ranked No. 23 in the USA Today Coaches' Poll, return two starters, Khaalia Hillsman and SEC All-Freshman pick Anriel Howard, from the team that finished second in the SEC in 2015-16, qualifying for the NCAA Tournament for the 11th straight year, posting a 22-10 record.

The Aggies host Oklahoma City at 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 5 in an exhibition game, then start the regular season on Sunday, November 13 at 6 p.m., hosting Central Arkansas at Reed Arena.
