"I am really excited to play Stephen F. Austin," head coach Jo Evans said. "We get to welcome back one of our former managers and baseball players in Keith Stein, and we get the chance to play a Division I team. We know that we are going to get challenged. Our team has to show up and play well to win. It is fun since this is the last game, because everyone always wants it to be their best game. We are looking forward to it."

The Aggies are coming off a sweep of McLennan CC on Wednesday, defeating the Highlassies, 3-0 and 12-1.

In game one, juniors Trinity Harrington and Lexi Smith combined to throw a no-hitter as Harrington threw 4.1 innings with seven strikeouts and Smith earned the save with a six-strikeout performance in the game's final 2.2 innings.

Offensively, junior Ashley Walters broke the scoring seal with an RBI double in the first, before freshman Sarah Hudek added to the lead with a sixth inning two-run homer.

In game two, freshman Payton McBride earned the win, giving up only one hit in four innings with six strikeouts. Sophomore Samantha Show fanned five in three innings to close out the game.

Junior Tori Vidales belted her first homer of the fall, a two-run shot, in the third inning. With a 5-1 lead heading into the sixth, the Aggie offense plated seven runs on six hits and pair of defensive miscues.

Admission to both contests is free.
