COLLEGE STATION- Texas A&M women's basketball hosts Oklahoma City in its only exhibition game on Saturday, November 5, as the Aggies prepare for the 2016-17 season.
Aggie Athletes Involved (AAI) is hosting a coat and blanket drive with the donation of a coat or blanket granting free admission for Saturday's exhibition. Donation locations will be set up at the north, east and main entrances of Reed Arena with items will be donated to Twin City Missions.
The game is broadcast on SEC Network Plus, with Steve Miller and Tap Bentz on the call. Authenticated subscribers can access the game exclusively on WatchESPN and the ESPN app through their computers, smartphones, tablets and smart TVs.
The Aggies return two starters, Freshman All-SEC pick Anriel Howard and Khaalia Hillsman from a team that went 22-10 and finished second in the SEC in 2015-16. The Aggies are looking for their ninth straight exhibition win, and their 13th win in 14 exhibition games.
Texas A&M hosts Oklahoma City for the fourth time since 2009 in the exhibition contest. The Stars, a preeminent team in NAIA, have won three national titles in NAIA since 2012.
After this game, the Aggies host Central Arkansas, a team that went 28-4 and made the NCAA Tournament in 2015-16, on Sunday, November 13 at 6 p.m. on SEC Network Plus in the season opener.
