No. 22 Women's Golf Heads To Dallas For Trinity Forest Invitational

DALLAS- The No. 22 Texas A&M women's golf team takes the course for their final event of the fall season on Monday as they head to the Trinity Forest Invitational Presented by Vic Salvino.

DALLAS- The No. 22 Texas A&M women's golf team takes the course for their final event of the fall season on Monday as they head to the Trinity Forest Invitational Presented by Vic Salvino.
 
Maddie Szeryk, Bianca Fabrizio, Thanya Pattamakijsakul, Courtney Dow and Chloe Velasco make up the Aggies' lineup for the 54-hole event. Szeryk and Fabrizio rank in the Top 15 nationally in scoring average, while Dow set a freshman school record with a 54-hole score of 209 (-7) in the Aggies' last event. This is Velasco's first appearance of the season, and her first career appearance in the Texas A&M lineup.
 
In their last outing, the Aggies registered their best performance on the season in the Maryb S. Kauth Invitational. The team finished in second place at 11-under par.
 
Joining the Aggies on the course in Dallas, are two other top 25 teams in Baylor and Ohio State along with Houston, Kansas, Kansas State, Memphis, Michigan, Mississippi State, Texas Tech, Tulsa, UNLV, UTSA and hosts SMU.
 
Fellow SEC competitor Mississippi State is paired with Texas A&M in the first round along with five golfers competing individually. The tournament opens at 8:30 a.m. Monday with a shotgun start for 36 holes. The final round of the tournament takes place on Tuesday. 

The tournament takes place at the Trinity Forest Golf Club, which will be the new home of the PGA Tour's AT&T Byron Nelson Championship. The track plays at par 72 and 6,236 yards. Live scoring for the event is available through Golfstat.
