The Aggies have season-long five game win streak, which includes two ranked wins and two conference road wins. A&M seniors Chelsea Jennings, Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams, part of a senior class that has gone 95-36 in four years at A&M, have each scored 10+ points in the Aggies' past three games.
Auburn has one of the SEC's biggest turnarounds this season, boasting an 18-9 record and an 8-6 mark in SEC play. The Tigers, who are looking for their first NCAA Tournament berth since 2009, had won five straight games prior to losing to Missouri on Sunday. Auburn has three players averaging double digits in points—Brandy Montgomery (14.6), Tra'Cee Tanner (12.5) and Katie Frerking (12.4).
Texas A&M has won all seven prior matchups with Auburn, including knocking Auburn out of the SEC Tournament in each of the previous two seasons, last season by a score of 57-47.
After this game, the Aggies come home to host No. 15 Kentucky in the home and regular season finale on Sunday, February 28 at 3 p.m. A ceremony for the senior class of Jennings, Jordan Jones, Rachel Mitchell, Walker and Williams is scheduled to take place at 2:40 p.m.
