Texas A&M tips off their 11th straight NCAA Tournament at Reed Arena at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 at 3 p.m., as the 4th-seeded Aggies take on 13-seed Missouri State.
The game is broadcast by ESPN2, and will be shown in its entirety on cable networks in the state of Texas. The Aggies are a Top 4 seed for the ninth time in 11 seasons, and are hosting NCAA First & Second Round action for the fourth time in five years. Each of the previous three times A&M has hosted, Reed Arena has led First-and-Second Round sites in attendance. The Aggies are 6-1 all-time in NCAA Tournament home games, including a 1994 First Round game at G. Rollie White Coliseum.
Missouri State enters this game on a 7-game win streak, including winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament. The Lady Bears, who made two NCAA Women's Final Fours, are making their 14th NCAA Tournament Appearance.
The winner of this game faces the winner of 5-seed Florida State and 12-seed Middle Tennessee on Monday, March 21 inside Reed Arena.
