
Pattamakijsakul Wins Event On Asean PGA/All Thailand Golf Tour

CHONBURI, Thailand- Texas A&M senior Thanya Pattamakijsakul won the 2016 Singha Pattaya Open, co-sponsored by the All Thailand Golf Tour and Asean PGA on Saturday. Pattamakijsakul finished the tournament shooting a 2-under 68 and posting a 54-hole score of 205 (-5).
Competing against professionals, Pattamakijsakul defeated Parinda Phokan by five strokes to take the trophy at Burapha Golf & Resort. Pattamakijsakul shot under par on all three rounds on the par 70 / 6,068 yard course.
Last season for Texas A&M, Pattamakijsakul averaged a 73.55 stroke average, posting three Top 10 finishes and winning the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational. She ranks seventh at Texas A&M with a career 75.18 stroke average.
