Szeryk Shoots 1-Over 73 At LPGA Manulife Classic

CAMBRIDGE, Ontario, Canada- Texas A&M sophomore Maddie Szeryk shot a 1-over 73 in the first round of the LPGA Manulife Classic at Whistle Bear Golf Club.
Szeryk, playing in her second straight LPGA event, had three birdies on the par 72 / 6,613 yard course. Szeryk played the last six holes of the course at 2-under par, and is tied for 97th in the tournament.
Szeryk tees off again at 7:43 a.m. CT on Friday in the second round of the LPGA Manulife Classic.
Szeryk, a two-time All-SEC selection, is tied for Texas A&M's all-time career stroke average lead entering 2016-17, where she and the Aggies attempt to qualify for NCAA play for the 17th consecutive season.
