The game is nationally televised on SEC Network, with Brenda VanLengen and Carol Ross calling the action. The Aggies open their SEC slate at home for the fifth straight year, and are looking for their 12th straight Top 4 conference finish. The Aggies have the SEC's leader in points, Danni Williams (18.4), rebounds, Anriel Howard (11.8) and assists, Curtyce Knox (9.8).
 
Vanderbilt is 10-3 under first-year head coach Stephanie White, the former WNBA head coach who took Indiana to the WNBA Finals in 2015. Rachel Bell leads the Commodores with 12.5 points per game.
 
After this game, the Aggies head to Georgia on Thursday, January 5 to take on the Lady Bulldogs. Tip is set for 6 p.m. on SEC Network Plus. Texas A&M's next home game is January 12, when the Arkansas Razorbacks visit Reed Arena at 7 p.m.
