COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Baseball, in conjunction with the Brazos County A&M Club, will unofficially commence the 2017 campaign with the fifth annual Aggie Leadoff on Saturday, February 11, at Olsen Park Pavilion.
The 2017 Aggie Leadoff is slated to start at 10:00 a.m. Â Ticket-holders will be given tours of Blue Bell Park by the Diamond Darlings beginning at 10:15. Â Ticket-holders will be entered in a raffle drawing for prizes, including a chance to throw out the first pitch at the scrimmage. A ticket will also include lunch catered by Roy May '15 of Good Bull BBQ.
Tickets for the event will be $20 for adults and $10 for children 12-and-under. Tickets can be purchased in advance at BCAMC.org.  Tickets purchased day-of will be based on availability.
As part of the Vs. Cancer Foundation, players and coaches will be shaving their heads in support of cancer research. Â The Vs. Cancer Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to saving kids' lives by empowering athletes and communities to fund lifesaving childhood cancer efforts. Donations will be accepted at the event.
The Aggies are slated to play an intrasquad scrimmage at 1:05 p.m. Â The scrimmage is free and open to the public. Tickets will only need to be purchased for those who plan to eat at the Aggie Leadoff.
Free parking will be provided in Lot 100j.
