COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M baseball team will host the fifth installment of Aggieland Idol on Tuesday, February 7 in the Cox Diamond Club at Blue Bell Park. Contestants will audition for an opportunity to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" before an Aggie baseball game this spring.

The auditioners will perform in front of a panel of celebrity judges.

The event, which is open to all students and Aggie fans, will take place from 6-8 pm with a 5:30 pm registration time. Everyone is welcome to come and listen to the auditions as a member of the audience.

The Aggies open the 2017 campaign on Friday, February 17 when they host the Bowling Green Falcons in a three-game series on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
