Eleven athletes with ties to the Texas A&M track and field program were included in the world and U.S. rankings compiled by Track & Field News for the 2016 season.

Four Aggies were among the top 10 world rankings with Bralon Taplin (400m) and Fabrice Lapierre (long jump) each earning a No. 5 rank while Lindon Victor (decathlon) and Ameer Webb (200m) each ranked No. 10.

Maggie Malone earned the No. 1 honor in the U.S. women's javelin rankings following her senior campaign with Texas A&M which included a collegiate record along with a sweep of titles at the SEC and NCAA Championships along with winning the Olympic Trials.

Webb ranked third in the 200m among the U.S. rankings and also collected the No. 6 ranking in the 100m. Donavan Brazier (800m) and Shamier Little (400m hurdles) each earned a No. 4 U.S. ranking as No. 5 rankings were attained by Ricky Babineaux (400m hurdles) and Sam Humphreys (javelin). Annie Kunz (heptathlon) ranked No. 8 while Audrey Malone joined her sister in the javelin rankings at No. 8.

Brazier's collegiate record performance in winning the NCAA Championships tied for 17th in voting for the top men's performance in the world for the 2016 season.
