Texas A&M women's golf has added two-time All-American Katerina Ruzickova-Bruner '14 as a volunteer assistant coach. Ruzickova-Bruner ranks third on the Aggies' career stroke average list with a 73.70.

"Katerina knows what it takes to be a successful college golfer, both on the course and in the classroom," said Texas A&M head coach Trelle McCombs. "It is exciting to add someone with her knowledge of the game who also can relate to our student-athletes on a personal level."

"It is good to be back at Texas A&M and working with the team," said Ruzickova-Bruner. "I am really looking forward helping this team realize their potential, and providing them a perspective on how to be successful as a college golfer."

Ruzickova played for Texas A&M from 2010-14, and was a three-time all-conference selection. She won the 2012 NCAA East Regional, and helped the Aggies to three top 16 finishes nationally, including a seventh place finish in 2011.

A star in the classroom as well, Ruzickova was an Academic All-Big 12 selection in 2012, and was named to the SEC Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2012-13 and 2013-14.

She left Texas A&M with career records in stroke average (73.70) and par-or-better rounds (43).

Since graduating with a degree in psychology in 2014, Ruzickova-Bruner has given golf lessons in the Bryan-College Station area, and has played professionally on the Symetra Tour, where she averaged 75.63 strokes per round in 11 events in 2016.
