No. 17 Women's Golf Heads To The Woodlands For The Dickson

The 17th-ranked Texas A&M women's golf team tees off their second tournament of the spring season on Monday as they head to The Woodlands for the The Dickson.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas- The 17th-ranked Texas A&M women's golf team tees off their second tournament of the spring season on Monday as they head to The Woodlands for The Dickson.
 
The Aggies' lineup will include reigning SEC Golfer of the Week Maddie Szeryk and the 12th-ranked golfer in the country Bianca Fabrizio. Szeryk and Fabrizio are on pace for the best seasons in Aggie history averaging 70.08 and 70.23 strokes respectively. Courtney Dow joins the pair after a 10th place finish in Florida. Two fellow seniors, Andrea Jonama and Thanya Pattamakijsakul make up the rest of the Aggie contingent heading to The Woodlands.
 
The 54-hole tournament begins with a 8:00 a.m. shotgun start on Monday morning, as the teams play the first two rounds. The final round begins at the same time on Tuesday from the 6,392 yard par 72 Tournament Course at The Woodlands Country Club. The Aggies are paired with Florida State and Houston during the opening round. 

The 16-team field includes four top-25 teams and four of the top-12 golfers in the country. Joining the Aggies are hosts Houston along with Florida State, Houston Baptist, Kent State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Purdue, SMU, TCU, Texas State, Texas Tech, Tulane, Tulsa, UNLV and UTSA.
 
In their last outing, the Aggies broke the school 54-hole scoring record behind top-10 performances from Dow, Fabrizio, and Szeryk. The team finished in third trailing only Florida State and South Carolina.
 
Live scoring for the Dickson is available through Golfstat.  After the event, the Aggies head to the islands for the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational from Kane'ohe, Hawaii March 14th through 15th.
