Orsak Named to the SEC Community Service Team

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Equestrian's Sarah Orsak was named to the SEC Community Service Team, the conference office announced Thursday.

COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Equestrian's Sarah Orsak was named to the SEC Community Service Team, the conference office announced Thursday.
 
Orsak assisted with The Big Event, Texas A&M's largest community service project, and The Buddy Walk. The San Antonio, Texas, native participated in Helping Hands and Aggie Replant Lost Pines, and helped out with National MS Valero Rider to the River and Life in Stride Riding Academy.
 
The Finance major also volunteered with Riders with Disabilities and Equestrian Canned Food Drive and was a committee member for Aggie Replant.
 
The SEC highlights student-athletes from around the league in a continuing effort to recognize the accomplishments of student-athletes beyond the field of competition each season with a Community Service Team.
 
All 21 league-sponsored sports have had a Community Service Team since 2004, with at-large teams for men's and women's sports being chosen from 1999-2003. The SEC began this concept with a football Community Service Team in 1994.
