COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Aggies host the TCU Horned Frogs in an exhibition match at Ellis Field Saturday at 5 p.m.

The contest will be free to spectators.

The Aggies have been impressive this spring, outscoring opponents 18-0. The run includes victories over Lone Star State foes Incarnate Word (6-0) and Rice (3-0) along with wins over Costa Rica's top two clubs, Saprissa (6-0) and Moravia (3-0).

Saturday's contest is a rematch of last November's NCAA Championship First Round match that the Aggies claimed 1-0. In the victory, Stephanie Malherbe scored a seventh-minute goal and the Maroon and White fought off TCU for the next 83 minutes to hang on for the victory.

Texas A&M returns 16 letterwinners from the 2016 campaign, including nine of 12 starters (started at least 50% of A&M's matches). The returnees account for 24 of the Aggies' 27 goals from last season and the Maroon and White add the potent Ally Watt who redshirted last season while playing for the United States U20 Women's National Team. Texas A&M welcomes back All-American Mikaela Harvey, along with fellow All-SEC performer Haley Pounds and former SEC All-Freshman honorees Emily Bates, Grace Piper and Watt.

Fans will get a nearly full preview of the 2017 squad as 25 of the 27 players who will be on the fall roster are in spring camp. The only players not in camp are incoming freshmen Jimena Lopez Fuentes and Rheagen Smith.

Last season, TCU enjoyed the best season in school history, going 12-7-2 and earning their first ever NCAA Championship bid. The Horned Frogs return 13 letterwinners from 2016, including leading scorer Allison Ganter (9 g, 3 a, 21 pts).

The Aggies finished the 2016 season with a 12-8-2 record. The Maroon and White appeared in their 22nd consecutive NCAA Division I Championship and advanced to the Second Round for the 19th consecutive year.
