No. 18 Women’s Golf Tees Off At Clemson Invitational

The No. 18 Texas A&M women's golf team heads to the Clemson Invitational from March 31-April 2. The Aggies have finished fifth-or-better in their last six tournaments.

SUNSET, S.C.- The No. 18 Texas A&M women's golf team heads to the Clemson Invitational from March 31-April 2. The Aggies have finished fifth-or-better in their last six tournaments.

Texas A&M takes to the par 72 / 6260 yard course at The Reserve at Lake Keowee, to face a 17-team field that includes five Top 25 teams. In addition to hosts Clemson and Texas A&M, the field includes No. 5 Florida, No. 6 Florida State, No. 8 Furman, No. 21 Texas, Columbia, Houston, Louisville, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Tulane, UNC-Wilmington and Vanderbilt.

Maddie Szeryk leads the Aggie lineup into the event, having finished first or second in all three tournaments this spring. She is on pace to set a school record with a 69.79 stroke average, and ranks second nationally in stroke average.

The Aggie lineup is rounded out by Bianca Fabrizio, Courtney Dow, Thanya Pattamakijsakul and Andrea Jonama. The Aggies are using the same lineup won the team championship by shooting 5-under in their last event, the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational on Mar. 14-15.

The Aggies tee off starting at 7:45 a.m. CT for the first of three rounds of the tournament.

Live scoring for the event is available through Golfstat.com. After this event, the Aggies conclude the regular season at The Brickyard Collegiate from April 10-11.
